The Windsor’s are such a unique family and I’ve loved getting to know the characters in the last couple books. I have been curious about Dion’s book since he had been engaged to Faye for almost 16 years (arranged marriage between their families) but wants nothing to do with her.

He has tried to avoid her at all costs but as their wedding date comes closer, so does their dynamic. Faye has lived a very sheltered life with her sole purpose being to do things that will help her secure her position within the Windsor Family. Faye has a lot of pressure coming from all sides to make their relationship work even though she had felt very neglected by her fiancée. But once he catches her in a bit of a compromising position, things take a 360 turn and all of a sudden he is everywhere.

I knew Dion would slay me but I wasn’t expecting that. All the reasons why he stayed away and the demons that he has been fighting after all these years, bring on the ugly tears. I love how he tries to make up for the years that he should have paid closer attention to her and the justice he gets for her after he finds out all that she has endured.

I love how Faye starts to come out of her shell throughout their journey together. She starts to speak up for herself more and realizes that she needs to fight in order to get the happiness that she has always craved. Also can I say how much I LOVE the men in this series. There is a very angsty moment in the book and they come in and help Dion with no hesitation and such fierce loyalty.

Their journey is hard, heart breaking but over all beautiful. So happy to see them get the HEA that they both deserve.
