Description
The Magic of Believing by Claude Bristol
The overall message is really solid. It is just a bit wordy and I felt like I was forcing myself to finish each chapter because there were so many examples. Considering that this book was published in 1948 and is still relevant to today really says a lot, though. The one chapter that really surprised me, especially since this was written by a man in the 1940s, was Chapter 8, Women and the Science of Belief. This man studied women and how they applied the same principles to achieve success. It was very empowering and motivating. I’ve read several other books on the same subject about manifestation and tapping into your subconscious, and this is the first book (from what I’ve read so far) that singles women out in a good way.
I’d give this book 5 stars if it was a bit more concise and to the point. I’ve been employing these techniques for about the past six months or so, and I’m already noticing a difference in my life. I think the hardest part is maintaining patience and not expecting instant results.
