Gosh, I love Rina’s books, I just absolutely fly through them, completely let myself get consumed, and never look back. Seriously, every time I read another book by her I am baffled by how much I love her dark, twisted romance. Okay, back to this duet: this is an “amnesia” romance, where Reina wakes up in the hospital and has not a clue what the hell happened, or who her fiancé sitting next to her is and why he intimidates her so much and more importantly why he hates her so much. Like any Rina book, this book is full of twists, turns, and secrets from the jump. However, the way things are unveiled meticulously throughout the duet just had me eating. it. up. Reina and Asher have a lot of history, and I loved to see them resist each other while trying to make sense of everything that has happened. Asher and Reina together were soooo good. If you’ve read Thorns Duet this really gives you any idea of what was up with Reina throughout that duet as it’s among sort of the same timeline. I can’t really say more without giving away any spoilers, but if you love a good bully, enemies to lovers, I hate you but love you, touch her and die vibes, this duet is for you.
