Every Monica Murphy book I’ve read has immediately captivated me, which is exactly what I look for in a book. So of course I was completely invested in reading Crew and Wren’s story!

Crew Lancaster has a reputation for being harsh, cruel, and downright mean. When the senior year comes around, Crew decides it’s time to ruin the good girl of the school, Wren Beaumont. However, when they get assigned to work on a project for school he decides he does not only want to ruin her but wants to claim her as his own.

Wren Beaumont is sweet and innocent. She’s also the popular girl at school, the trendsetter, the one who girls want to dress like and be like. She’s friends with everyone except the most brooding boy ever, Crew Lancaster. Who glares and scowls at her each time they cross paths. When she gets assigned to work with him in class she doesn’t expect to begin to trust him and to shockingly want more than just his friendship.

I truly enjoyed Crew and Wren’s story! Crew was broody and yet so sweet! The moments they spent alone were my favorite! Such as the library scene  and when they were watching the movie. Just the way he took care of her needs and would actually listen to her, paying close attention to what she loved and wanted for her 18th bday. *Swooned AF* I mean, what regular boyfriend does that?  I also will never think about blow pops as a regular piece of candy ever again.
Seriously this was such a great book, one that I’ll be recommending for a very long time!
